Impeller Packers
An impeller packer is a dry material pump. A spinning impeller, fed by twin screws, drives product into the valve bag under pressure. It is the fastest way to bag cement and fine powder minerals, and it holds accuracy at rates the other feed types cannot sustain.
Best Suited To
Cement, heavy bulk density powders, sanded grout mixes, pulverized gypsum, and non-sanded building products.
- Requires a constant head of material above the packer
- Requires non-abrasive material, since abrasives wear the impeller
- Available as a single spout or in multiples of three or more depending on production requirements
Rapid Flow Impeller Packer

4010 Rapid Flow Impeller Packer
A single spout machine that packages a wide variety of products at continuous high speeds. It handles products from cement at 94 lbs per cubic foot and 325 mesh down to materials with less than half that bulk density and over twice the mesh size. It fills over ten 50 lb bags per minute without sacrificing weight accuracy, and in multiple unit installations it will maintain over twenty bags per minute.
- Fill weight range: 20 to 110 lbs (9 to 50 kg)
- Fill rate: 4 to 12 bags per minute depending on product
- Weight accuracy: plus or minus 3 oz to 5 oz depending on product
- Electrical: 230/460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz. 7.5 hp 1200 rpm TEFC motor
- Air: 1 cfm at 80 psi
- Low head room requirements for ease of application and service
- Mechanical scale is a 3:1 ratio with inverted, hardened points
- Impeller assembly fed by two feed screws for uniform material flow
- Dust collection hood and manifold standard
- Shipping weight: approximately 1,000 lbs (454 kg)
Options: automatic bag start, automatic bag discharge, all product contact stainless steel, packer base, casters with position locks, NEMA 4 and 9 enclosures, custom options available on request.

Pneumatic Control Placement
Pneumatic controls can be mounted on the rear, right, or left side of the frame, and can be moved if additional units are added or the packer is relocated. Simple operation and low maintenance.
- Controls mount on rear, right, or left of frame
- Repositionable when adding units
- Rigid construction of structural steel channel, angle, and tubing
- Trim weight mounts on beam or front post for easy adjustment
Multiple Spout Installations
Where one spout will not keep up with the line, impeller packers are installed in multiples of three or more, sharing a single operator position.
Multiple Spout Operator Deck
Two, three, and four spout decks for valve bag fillers, with operator chair, empty bag racks, take away conveyor, and surge bins.
Robotic Valve Bag Placer
Automatic valve bag placing to eliminate manual spouting of bags. Single and dual spout placers, placing up to 14 bags per minute.
