Auger Packers
An auger packer meters material into the valve bag with a screw. Because the screw controls the flow rather than impeller or air volume, it handles a large variety of products. It is the slowest of the three valve feed types, and it is the one to reach for when the material is difficult rather than when the line is fast.
Typical Materials
Powders or granules, bakery flours and blends, spice blends, cement blends, chemicals, plastic powder resins, and feed supplements.

- Abrasives wear an auger quickly, so a hard-faced stellite auger is available where needed

A heavy duty gross weigh auger bagger for filling valve-type bags with dry flaked, powdered, pelleted, or granular materials. Scale beam weighing on pivoted hardened knife edges, or load cell weighing with an electronic controller.
